July 2002: Better Search Engine Positioning!
We are redesigning the page name that our site uses to display the listings for a each city, so each city has its own dedicated page which will be tailored to get it ranked at the top of the search engines. This is based on an analysis from our search engine consulting company and their ability to learn our business and the capabilities of our programmers. Good Job to all involved!

June 2002: New 1 Page, Fast and Simple Order Form with new options and lower prices!!!
We abandoned the old 4 page order form for a New Streamlined Version that lets our customer select just the features they need. We think the new Email Question box that will allow the user to instantly send in a question or request to the Listing's email address will be very popular and helpful. And the lower prices are designed to eliminate the risk of TravelSearch.net being a bad investment. In fact prices now range from $5.00 up to $40.00 per year! Sign up now, before we come to our senses!

May 2002: Automated Updating, and new Listing Categories!
We have designed a program to update databases with the current phone number of a residential or business address. We will be using this to keep our listings current and identify those no longer in business. We have also added 12,000 campgrounds, and 8,000 marinas and boat rental/fishing guide companies in the U.S.

April 2002: Comment Boxes!
Every page has a comment/question box so that the user can submit without leaving the page. Every submittal also tells us how they found our site and what they were searching for on the search engine.

June 1, 2001: Database Integration!
We held out for a long time. Trying to give that personal service, but its getting to be a lot to maintain! Storing and retrieving the site from a database also allows innkeepers to make instantaneous changes to their listing. It also allows us to provide a free basic listing of name, address, city, st, zip, phone for over 100,000 lodging facilities. This will give our visitors much more to work with when they are researching an area that doesn't have many listings. It also allows us to lower our prices for renewals and new listings and offer more pictures on your page, since it will cut down on our development and maintenance costs. At least that's what the programmer promised! It is long overdue, and more listing will give TravelSearch the variety visitors are looking for today, and result in more repeat traffic.

January 1, 2001: Featured Lisitings!
We just added a left column to the home page and all state pages which will be available for featured listings of Gold for the top spot, Silver for second, and Bronze for third. This will give much more exposure and its affordable with a small monthly billing to a credit card (contact us at sales@travelsearch.net for details). Starting in June 2001, the home page features will be a rotation of those on the state pages!!! Lock in those spots while they are still available!!!

November 1, 2000: Hot Deals & Discount Travel Packages!
We have recently added a hot deals feature to Travel Search! Hot deals showcases discount travel packages from cruises to last minute deals to special event packages! Check back to hot deals often, as new travel packages are added frequently. If you wish to be notified when new packages are listed, you may sign up for our mailing list on the hot deals page.
